Food & Agriculture

Why should we worry about growing our own food and eating locally?
Here are two interesting statistics to ponder:
(1) New Hampshire currently produces 6% of our food supply based on
existing agricultural infrastructure (compared to 20% + in Maine & Vermont)
(2) New Hampshire's food output in dollars is $134 million, yet our demand is $3.2 billion.

Food & Agriculture are regional issues, but there are many ways to take action locally.
